All About Us

Hello, and welcome to Carols Custom Crochet. From the time I was a teenager, I have been interested in crochet and always admired my grandmother’s beautiful work. She made colorful blankets, shoes, pillow tops and hot pads.

When I was 17, my mom said; “Let’s learn how to crochet!” I thought that was a great idea, so she enrolled us in a 6 weeks community education class up at the high school, where we learned all the basic stitches. Soon after, I made my first blanket, which turned out very nice. I still have it and I’ve been crocheting ever since. Now I am 60 and a grandmother myself.

Glenn, my wonderfully supportive and encouraging husband, is the webmaster and creator of this awesome site. We live in rural central Texas, on a small farm with a few cows, a few chickens, some cats, and our precious little dog Peaches.

We are starting out with a few good selections, but we plan to expand our product choices. Feel free to explore the variety of colors and combinations to create your own custom crochet designs.
